Bohemian Waxwings, Slotervaart, Amsterdam, 28 November 2004

These waxwings belong to a group of 50 that stayed for a week in the Pieter Borstraat, an otherwise very boring street in Amsterdam West. When they were hungry they flew from these bare branches into a shrubbery to feed on the berries. The weather was gray. This made it difficult to take a good picture.
