In 2014 the starling takes part in Beleef de Lente, a program of BirdLife International Nederland with cams near nests of birds. For the starling a nestbox in the garden of the Tree Foundation was chosen. This box dates from 2004. On the picture a juvenile starling on 18 June 2006. Unfortunately the starlings did not build a nest in 2014. Click here for footage of another box.
