The hard ware

Pictures dating before 4 December 2004 are digiscoped (Kodak DX 3900 3,1 megapixel with 2x optical zoom and Bushnell Spacemaster scope 22x wide angle ocular). On 4 December 2004 the Kodak broke down. Something inside the camera exploded while I took it out off the docking station.

In December 2004 I started to photograph with a Panasonic Lumix FZ20 5 megapixel with 12x optical zoom. This camera is not suited for digiscoping. See for the first nice picture this blackbird. June 2011 this camera also broke down (lens problem). Since 25 June 2011 I work with the Panasonic Lumix FZ45 14 megapixel with 24x optical zoom. On the day of purchase, a rainy day, I pictured the juvenile jackdaw from a distance of about 4 meters. The photo is not cropped.
